Located just outside the gates of Quantico is a small Prince William County park that has quickly become a regional destination for Mountain Bikers in the Northern Virginia Area. The park has approximately 8 miles of trails, including two mountain bike specific trails, the Col Du Shade and 95th St. The Col is a narrow ribbon along the shoulders of I-95 that will get your heart pounding. 95th Street is a small skills area packed with skinnies, rollers and quite possibly the funnest, albeit short, downhill section of trail in the region. 95th Street’s proximity to the parking lot has made it a local favorite. What once used to be an underused trail system is now a destination for cyclists and hikers across the region.
