Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!

I'm gearing up for 2013 and hoping that the new book hits the shelves in the spring so that it is ready for you when you are ready to hit the trails. I've been quiet the past few weeks since submitting the manuscript, but that does not mean I have not been busy.

Lots of travel around the world and country has kept me off the trails and pavement, but this holiday I did manage to venture out into the woods for a Christmas Eve ride during a steady, the first of the season I might add, snow shower.

The trails at Laurel Hill were perfect for the occasion; Those trails benefit tremendously from a little bit of moisture on their surface. The gravel surface bonds beautifully with moisture and make riding "less hazardous".

Laurel Hill is one of my favorite Fall/Winter destinations since the vegetation is sparse and the ticks are dormant. I'll be posting a ride calendar for days when I head out there is you want to join me for a quick spin in the woods; especially if you're not familiar with the area and are looking for someone to show you the way.Stay safe and enjoy your holidays, and see you in 2013!
